She got out

Begonia is doing great. Her paw is no longer swollen and she is not limping anymore. I got a good look at her paw today and poor thing has four staples. Four staples is a lot on such a small paw.

Begonia hates her e-collate and who can blame her. She sits by the door, meowing to go out, and will go on for hours. I am impressed by her persistence, but a meowing cat can get very annoying!

Everything was going great till about 9:30 last night. I had taken Begonia’s e-collar off so she could eat and stretch her neck. I went out to the garage to get some kitty litter, open the door, and she bolted out.

CRAP! CRAP! CRAP!

I tried to get her back inside and had no luck. Begonia was free! She was gone! I tried not to panic. I figured I would try every 15 minutes to get her back in. An hour past and all of a sudden Begonia came back!!!!

Begonia is a smart cat and of course did not make catching her easy. I lured her too me with treats. I grabbed her fast and went back inside. I put the e-collar back on as quickly as possible.

Keeping Begonia in for 12 more days is going to be tough. She wants out so bad. I am trying everything I can to make her happy. She looked pretty happy tonight, as she laid next to me as I read.

Thank goodness I have ear plugs. Hopefully Begonia will stop meowing so I can get some sleep!
