And today’s post will be a multitude of random thoughts.
1. I am not a fan of daylight savings. I do not understand the point anymore. California is thinking of getting rid of it and I am proud of my state. I do not think anyone will really miss it. So be gone with you daylight savings!
2. Today is exactly 90 days until my big European cruise! Hard to believe it is so close. I cannot wait to see Greece and Turkey. We have a jam packed 10 days and I am ready!! Three months is going to go by super fast. It will be here in a blink of an eye.
3. I have not read a book in a month. Today I have tried to read three different books and I could not get into them. The desire to read is just not there. I have been in reading ruts before but not for this long. We are going on almost three months and maybe two books read. I am worried that I will be in the same boat as photography. I have not really picked up my camera in a year. This is not good.
4. Mom is still in the hospital. It has been about two months. She is now able to walk to the restroom by herself with the aid of a walker. She can put minimal weight on her bad leg. Mom has only said once that she is ready to go home, but I prefer her to stay as long as she can. Once she goes home she will be back to her cave, smoking, and drinking with minimal socialization. At the hospital she avoids all of her bad habits.
5. Begonia had a great day today. Some days I really envy her.
She looks so fat in the above picture, but she is actually a skinny minnie. I always worried about her weight. She eats like a like a pig and should weigh as much as me.
6. Next week I will be in Colorado. I am excited but a bit nervous. I am visiting my cousin, but I do not know her all that well. I know once I get there everything will be fine. I have no idea what we will do once I get there, but I am hoping for winter weather- cold and hopefully snow! Maybe I will meet a handsome mountain man!
