Two Movies in One Day!

Today was a surprising, semi-relaxing last day of summer vacation.

My mom mentioned last night that she wanted to go and see a movie today.  Now, following my mom’s track record I figured that she would not be feeling up to going out.  I was full of energy, so I went to go see Into the Storm.

Now this movie was not my first choice, but it was the only one showing at a convenient time. A few things about this movie.  First, it should have been a TV movie.  Second, it was exhausting! Third, it was kinda fun.  I would not recommend it to someone looking for an Oscar worthy film, but I enjoyed myself. It entertained me and that is all I asked for.

Well, of course my mom ends up calling and saying she is ready to go to the movies. So I headed back to the theater to see The Hundred-Foot Journey.

This movie was very cute and lived up to my expectations. I loved the Indian family and their relationship. I loved the country setting in France. The story dragged a bit, but it was still a very sweet movie. My mom really enjoyed it and it was nice to be abel to spend another day with her.

Tomorrow the school year officially starts for me. I am thrilled to be back to school.  I need the routine and busy schedule to keep my mind at bay!

Today’s Gratitude
