Guardians of the Galaxy

Here is to a relaxing weekend!!!

Yesterday I attempted to go to school and get some work done. I had a mountain of copies to make and was looking forward to tying up some lose ends. I got to school, put the copy machine to work, and started to get some organizing done. I hung some posters, put some lab supplies away, and clear my counters. I was doing good!

Until I checked the copy machine. I was not even half way through my stack and the copy machine ran out of toner.

No need to panic. I started to look through the cabinets for another toner cartridge.

Except there was no new toner cartridge to be found.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was nothing I could do. With no toner I could not make copies. I was frustrated. Making all these copies would make the coming week go a lot more smoothly. I had no choice but to leave school and try to get to work early on Monday. That was not the way I wanted to start the week.

The frustrating afternoon at work was forgotten when I went to dinner with my parents. We went to a favorite Mexican restaurant and stuffed our faces. We were having such a good time and enjoying each other’s company (that does not happen often), so we decided to take the party to a local Starbucks. This Starbucks has a fountain near it and it is so much to see all the kids running around. It was nice to spend some time with my parents.

Today I got back to my normal work routine- laundry, grocery shopping, and emptying the DVR. The problem was that I did not have a lot on my DVR and I was bored. What was I going to do?

Go to a movie!!!!

I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy.

I have wanted to see this movie for awhile. The reviews have been wonderful and I was hoping it would live up to the hype.

It was cute at best. I liked the characters and Chris Pratt is very easy on the eyes.

I could have watched a movie with just him and been happy. It might have actually been a little bit better than the movie I saw today.
