I finally made it to The Cube!

Today I finally made to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana or The Cube as I call it.

Dino-Quest-and-Discovery-Cube

I have wanted to go here forever and it surpassed my expectations.  I went with my friend Gretchen and her kids, Squirrel and Possum (yes, I really do call them that). We had so much fun.  The science center has tons of hands on activities that kids and Samanthas throughly enjoyed.

We made bubbles at Bubblefest. I took a million bubble pictures and sorry to say that this was the best one. You do get to see Possum and Gretchen’s arms.

We were privilaged enough to take part in Chicken Idol.

One of the neatest parts of the day was when the boys built this awesome contraption. They had to use everyday items like straws, paper clips, banker clips, spoons.  It took them about a half hour of working together. The ball was able to go through the maze to the bottom without falling out.  It was awesome!  Possum and  Squirrel are so awesome!

For dinner I got together with my mom.  She is doing awesome.  The Orthopedic Surgeon said she is healing ahead of schedule. She still walks with a can, but only because she still feels a little unsteady on her feet. She no longer has to wear the shoulder brace!  I am so impressed with her.  I took her for a celebratory pedicure and some errand running.  Hard to believe that five weeks ago we were unsure of how she would be!
