Mockingjay

First day in Portland and we painted the town red.

Per Thanksgiving tradition, my cousin and I saw the latest teenie-bopper movie. We headed to a great local theater, the Bagdad, and watched Mockingjay.

I hate to say it it, but I found the movie very boring. I expected it to be as action packed as the previous movies. Instead it was slow. Surprisingly I did not sleep through it. I think what saved the movie was the tater tots I was snacking on during the movie. Tater tots makes everything better!

After the movie we headed to Voodoo Doughnuts.

You cannot come to Portland without a stop here. There was a line out the door and some interesting entertainment outside. I got myself two doughnuts and could not wait to get home.

We had a few more stops to make. We picked up a butternut squash pizza for dinner (amazingly yummy!) and headed home. For dessert I had a Butterfingering doughnut.

I could have five of these!

We quickly ate, freshened up, and headed to our annual Thanksgiving hockey game. My cousin and I are convinced we are good luck since we win every game we go! Go Winterhawks!
