Packing Cubes and Labels

Today was a great day.

I spent the day with my wonderful friend who also happens to be my hairdresser (I am sure there are some days she wishes I did not mention the hairdresser part!). We will call her Tallahassee. She recently has had some medical issues and we needed to talk. She  must have been very excited for our day because she woke me up at six this morning.

We drove to Pasadena to see Cinderella at the iPic Theaters. The theaters have reclining seats and a menu that looks delicious. I had the  warm ham and cheese biscuits with whipped maple butter.

AMAZING!!!!!!!

I know I have already seen Cinderella, but I have been dying to go to this movie theater and today was all about Tallahassee. The movie was even better the second time.  Tallahassee really enjoyed it.

After the movie we did some shopping, ate lunch at a horrible place that I will not mention, and drove home while listening to Madonna and Miles Davis.  We were exhausted from our fun trip and both were in need of a nap.

When I got home, I labeled my baking supplies.

IMG_4856That sounds so funny to me! Baking supplies! I am not a fan of baking, but I must have my goods labeled!

I also had to play with my new packing  cubes.

Yes, they are for the cruise that is 427 days away.

STOP LAUGHING AT ME!!!!!

I am a little excited about the cruise and I like to organize. The packing cubes make me very happy. Organizing keeps me sane. And they have polka dots! I love polka dots. I will get a lot of use out of them before the cruise and will probably buy more.

I cannot wait to use them!

After a quick nap, I decided to do my weekly grocery shopping. The Redlands Bicycle Classic is going on and who knows what roads will be closed tomorrow. So I decided to get my shopping out of the way this evening. It also means I will have more time to lie on the couch and empty the DVR tomorrow!

Mom Report: She had a bad day today, another flare up. She is so worried that she did the surgery for nothing. Fingers crossed that tomorrow will be a better day for her.
