Lions, Tigers, Dolphins, and Atomic Bombs

Today was another great day in Vegas. The weather was hot, but not as bad as it has been. It was pretty humid so I limited my time outside.

The day started with a visit to Sigfred and Roy’s Secret Garden. I was hesitant to go. Would the animals have large enough enclosures? Would they look happy? I was hoping yes. Sigfred and Roy have made a living because of these animals, so they would treat them the right way…. right?

So wrong. The enclosures were tiny. They were so small. My heart was hurting. I stayed maybe thirty minutes. I had big plans to take all sorts of pictures and lugged my camera. Instead I just used my phone.

G and I met up for lunch. I had Chipotle again. It was amazing.

Then I did something amazing. I was feeling tired so I went back to the room to rest while G went to another conference session. I was feeling a little restless and guilty, so I went to the gym.

Oh yes, you read that right.

I actually went to the gym while on vacation.

And I ran the whole Week Three, Day Three program (minus ten seconds)!

I need a crown that says Badass!

G came back to the room and we planned our next adventure.

We got in a taxi and headed to the National Atomic History Museum. We found a LivingSocial deal for half off tickets and we were thrilled. The museum is amazing. Tons of information, pictures, and videos. I never expected this museum to be so interesting. I should have known because I took a picture of the clouds earlier that kinda looked like a nuclear mushroom cloud.

After the museum, we decided to stay in the hotel. We had an amazing dinner, soaked in the jacuzzi, and challenged each other on Trivia Crack.

Tomorrow is our last night in Vegas and we a great adventure planned.
