Trainwreck

Today was a lazy day.

I worked out. Today was the hardest day so far. My body was fighting everything I tried- treadmill, elliptical, bike, everything! I have to remind myself that the important thing is that I went. That is the victory!

I had to be to out of the house for a few hours so I went to see Trainwreck.

At first I was a little put off by the crudeness, but I quickly got over it. The movie was hilarious. I would see it again in a heartbeat. At first I had a hard time seeing Bill Hader as a leasing man. He was so good at the role that I ended up loving him. The cameos in the movie are probably one of the best parts in the movie. Everyone was hilarious.

I came home and finished my book. I had heard a lot about The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

The book was good, but not great. It did not live up the hype in my opinion. I have never read a book about the Holocaust from a child’s point of view. The child was spoiled and whiney. He was nine-years old, but completely oblivious to what was going on around him. I could not figure out if the boy was naive or sheltered. Maybe all the hype did not allow me to give the book a chance. Who knows.
