When I was a kid, I thought Veterans Day was a holiday for Veterinarians. It has been a long running joke in my family.
I do want to thank all veterans and active duty military for keeping my country safe. I am able to live the life I do thanks to my military.
Today started off very lazy. I had planned to get up and got for a walk early, but my bed was so warm and cozy that I decided to stay in it. Beginia made no complaints. The laziness continued and I got myself a facial. It was amazing. My skin feels clean and soft. I have had so much trouble with my skin and it feels great to finally feel good about it.
Then I had another victory. I was invited by a coworker to spend the day with her, family, and other coworkers to go over to her house and be crafty. Now, I have never been called crafty. I have my attempts and moments. I went to socialize and to get my butt off the couch. I also wanted to face my fears and jump in feet first. The victory feels amazing. I put myself in two scary situations in less than a week and I survived.
I feel strong.
To add to my list of victories, I went running this evening. It felt great. I love running. I love how I feel while I am running and how great I feel after.
Now I deserve to sit on the couch, watch TV, and hang out with Begonia.
I wonder if Begonia is proud of me.
Or if see is happy to hang out with me.
