Today I attended a baby shower for a coworker, Monica. It was fun and short.
Anyone who knows me knows that I hate baby showers. I want to be happy for the mother to be, but I am jealous as hell. I would pretty much do anything to have a child and I know that I probably never will. Monica is my Chipotle buddy and I could not miss her shower. She is unable to have children and is in the process of adopting. Monica and I have spent many Chipotle dates crying about our our broken reproductive parts. As jealous as I am, I am very excited for her.
My mom and I were supposed to go see a movie this afternoon, but my dad was MIA and my mom was feeling horrible. I knew my mom was not going to go to a movie, so I made some alternate plans. I went to see Tomorrowland and was pleasantly surprised!
The movie was a little choppy, but I really enjoyed it. George Clooney was likable and I like the message it sent. And Hugh Laurie was in it! House! I loved House and I love Hugh Laurie!!!! He played a great bad guy!
And then I bought these shoes. Can you find Yoda?
