Last night I was fast asleep by 11:30.
Never saw the ball drop.
And I am okay with that!
Today was a nice easy day with my Nana. We drove down to RoadRunner so I could purchase some new running shoes. I love my new shoes and cannot wait to break them in! And no, I did not pay that price for them! I also got some new socks and yes I did pay that price for them. I have learned that socks matter when running! Who would have thunk it!
I even splurged and got myself a t-shirt. Then Nan and I went to lunch. I was surprised by everything that was closed on New Year’s Day.
We came home, Nan napped while I watched Cake.
This movie was great! It was hard to watch, but very moving.
We ended the day with a game of cards and watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Nan had never seen it. I was surprised that she enjoyed it as much as she did. What a great movie! Every time I watch it I realize how great it is.
