I rode in an ambulance today

Ok.

Not an actual ambulance.

It was really a medical transport vehicle.

My mom had her post-op appointment with the surgeon. He was disappointed to see her on a gurney and not in a wheelchair or walker. He gave her a lot of homework. She has to practice walking with a walker, bend her knee as much as possible, and take Vitamin D3. The nurse took out what seemed like a million staples and the doctor said her incision site looked good.

All in all it was a great appointment!

And I got to play hooky from work.

The cherry on the top for today?

I finished my first book for the year!

Finally!!!!

We Are All Made of Molecules was a great book. It a Young Adult book, predictable, and an easy read. But I loved it. I wanted to read it all the time. I could not wait to pick up the book and read. It was just that good. I loved the characters and loved how it was written. I felt like I was seeing everything through the characters’ eyes.

And I finally finished my first book of the year!!!!!!!!

Finally!
