Spring Break done right

Today is the first day of Spring Break!

WAHOO!!!!!!

Begonia is settled in for the week, Mom is home, and I am off. I leave for Colorado tomorrow, but I am driving down to San Diego today to spend some time with my nana. And we are wild and crazy!

Nana felt like going to see a movie. I did not want to see the same movie as her so I found another movie showing at the same time. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was very cute. Supposedly it was based on a true story, but we all know how that works. Tina Fey was great. I love her! I even liked Billy Bob Thornton’s character and I usually can’t stand Billy Bob! I was rooting for him! Odd. Nana and I had dinner afterwards and turned in for an early night.

While I was packing for my trip I watched another movie. Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl was amazing. It was sad, but very funny and refreshing. It reminded me of high school- all the trials, hardships, and stresses you go through. I was hesitant to watch the movie and so glad that I did. Now I have to read the book!
